• General Process Description: The Refinery is Designed to Accept a Wide Range of Gold and Silver Bearing Materials for Processing Into a Variety of High-Purity Products According to Market Needs. Several Process Options are Available for the Extraction of Fine Gold and Fine Silver From the Feedstocks Received. The Processes Can be Grouped into Three Main Areas:
  • Fire Assay Refining
  • Hydrometallurgical Refining
  • Electrolytic Refining
    
    
• Situated in a 64,000 Square Foot Floor Plant, This Refinery Consists Of:
  • Security Complex: 
    • This Area Houses the Security Room, Vault, Receiving Room, and Armored Car Bay
    • All Unprocessed Feedstock, Partially Processed Materials, and Completely Processed Precious Metal Solids are Locked in a Fully Secured and Monitored Vault
  • Laboratory Complex is Divided into Four Sections:
    • The Balance Room
    • The Wet Chemical Assay Room
    • The Fire Assay Room
    • The Crucible Fusion Room
  • Quality Control Area: Essentially Controls Material Flow for Processing Operations
  • Foundry Complex: Pyrometallurgical Processing Carried Out, Induction Furnaces are Used For; 
    • Melting and Granulating Feed for Gold and Silver Dissolution Reactor Systems
    • Melting and Pouring Anodes for the Electrolytic Cells
    • Melting and Pouring Finished Bars
  • Crushing and Grinding: for Sampling, Assaying, or Upgrading Purposes
  • Hydrometallurgical Refinery: 
    • Gold Circuit:
      • Dissolution Reactors
      • Gold Electrolytic Cells
      • Precipitation Reactors
      • Cementation Tanks
    • Silver Circuit:
      • Dissolution Reactors
      • Silver Electrolytic Cells
      • Cementation Tanks
  • Pollution Control Complex: The Pollution Control Plant is Divided Into Two Areas; Gaseous Emissions Control and Liquid Effluent Treatment
    • Gaseous Emissions Control:
      • Scrubbers and Baghouse Control Gaseous Emissions and Dust Generated
    • Liquid Effluent Treatment:
      • All Process Liquid is Treated in Pollution Plant for Precipitating Heavy Metals
  • Reagent Storage: Tanker Trucks Deliver All Reagents in Bulk
  • Research and Development: Approx. 32,000 Square Feet, Within the Area is Analytical Equipment (X-Ray Spectrometer, Direct Current Plasma Spectrometer), Full Laboratory Equipment, and a 20 Ton Per Day Pilot Plant
